Dr. Miguel De La Torre is the author of many books,
including Burying White
Privilege: Resurrecting a Badass Christianity
and Liberating Jonah: Forming an Ethics of
Reconciliation. Miguel
is a professor of ethics and Latinx studies at Iliff Theological
Seminary in Denver, CO.
In this conversation, we talk about his take on the notions of hope and hopelessness; the myth of a Christian America; and his personal faith journey that includes Santería, Catholicism and Southern Baptist traditions.
