justice and healing. The conference is hosted by Middle
Collegiate Church and The Middle Project.
Rev. Dr. Miguel De La Torre is the author of many books, including Burying White Privilege: Resurrecting a Badass Christianity and Liberating Jonah: Forming an Ethics of Reconciliation. Miguel is a professor of ethics and Latinx studies at Iliff Theological Seminary in Denver, CO.
In this conversation, we talk about his take on the notions of hope and hopelessness; the myth of a Christian America; and his personal faith journey that includes Santería, Catholicism and Southern Baptist traditions.
